Unlike large commercial houses, Domaine B. Girardin is a family-owned, independent Récoltant Manipulant (RM) grower. This means they craft every bottle entirely from grapes grown in their own vineyards, which they cultivate, press, and vinify themselves at their estate in the heart of Mancy. Every step of the process is personally guided by the family, ensuring an authentic expression of their unique land.

The domaine's story is driven by two of Sandrine Girardin's passions: viticulture and music. Taking over from her father, Bernard, in the 1990s, she renamed the estate and began naming each cuvée after a musical term—Appoggiature, Vibrato, Point d’Orgue—to reflect the rhythm and expression of their terroir. This is a house where winemaking is an art form.

Their true distinction lies in their unique geography. Domaine B. Girardin is fortunate to farm vines on two very different terroirs:

• The South Hills of Épernay (Mancy): Produces      Chardonnays with a frank, mineral, and structured character.
• The Vitryat: Known for a      richer, more exotic, and fuller-bodied style.

This duality gives the winemaker an extraordinary "palette" of grapes to compose cuvées of remarkable complexity and balance.

As custodians of the land, they are committed to a healthy future. The estate is HVE (High Environmental Value) certified, practicing sustainable agriculture. Furthermore, they are pioneering organic and biodynamic treatments on select plots, showcasing a forward-thinking approach. In the cellar, fermentations use only indigenous yeasts, with a bold move towards vinification in oak barrels and amphorae with no inputs (since 2022), alongside traditional stainless steel.

We have carefully selected a range of their expressive cuvées, designed to take you on a journey:

• Première Partition (Entry to the Collection): Appoggiature – A signature Brut with a      harmonious blend of 60% Chardonnay, 30% Meunier, and 10% Pinot Noir.      Expect floral aromas, white fruit, and a saline, lemony freshness.
• Hors du Temps (Timeless Expressions): Vibrato – A lively, mineral Blanc de      Blancs Extra Brut showcasing the two terroirs of      Chardonnay. Point d’Orgue – Mature vintage champagnes      (2012 & 2007) aged for over a decade on lees, offering notes of spice      and honey.
• Anima Vinea (The Soul of the Vine): Coloratura –  A rare, 100% Meunier Rosé Brut Nature from old vines,      with a vibrant, saline-driven red fruit profile. Rubato –      An unconventional Sweet Champagne (Doux), a masterful      wine-liquor balance for adventurous palates.
